Kumo London was commissioned by Beyond Real Productions to provide embedded camera operation for two acoustic music-video sessions with Ella Henderson, filmed on behalf of Warner Music UK.

Both sessions were directed by Dee and our services were requested by Tristan Williams, featuring stripped-back performances of Everything I Didn’t Say and Ugly.

Shot across a single production day inside Church studio, the visual approach combined controlled lighting, Cooke optics, and precise camera movement to achieve tonal warmth and cinematic intimacy.

Operating as B-camera within Beyond Real’s multi-camera framework, Yohan Forbes brought additional perspective to Warner’s acoustic campaign capturing moments of micro-expression, tonal contrast, and audience-facing realism that complemented the lead DOP’s master framing.

The acoustic studio’s architecture, with its stained glass, piano, and candlelight, became a natural extension of Henderson’s vocal energy balancing soulful performance with cinematic stillness.

This project exemplifies how Kumo London integrates seamlessly into large-scale production ecosystems supporting agencies and record labels with embedded precision, empathy and visual discipline.

While not leading the shoot, our role was to elevate every lens move into meaning, ensuring rhythm, emotion, and composition reflected the music’s tone.

We aligned with Beyond Real’s workflow, adapting to fast-paced studio resets while maintaining a consistent aesthetic across both tracks.

This embedded model quiet authorship within collaborative structures is a cornerstone of Kumo’s approach to music cinematography.
