Kumo London was commissioned by BBC Music to provide fast-turnaround post-production editing for their official Reading Festival 2022 coverage. Working within BBC’s editorial structure, we sourced and edited performance footage from leading acts including Ed Sheeran, Joy Crookes, Bring Me The Horizon, Poppy, Enter Shikari and DE’WAYNE.

Led by Kumo editor Yohan Forbes, our team worked closely with the BBC’s internal edit producer to ensure all video content met the highest standards of technical polish, platform compliance and editorial sensitivity. Final edits were distributed across BBC iPlayer and BBC Music’s YouTube platform within tight turnaround windows, aligning with live event schedules and public engagement rollouts.

STRATEGIC INSIGHT

This project highlights Kumo London’s ability to integrate into institutional pipelines at pace. As a trusted post partner, we didn’t just deliver footage, we aligned with the BBC’s internal compliance workflows, met digital broadcast standards and preserved the brand’s editorial voice across platforms.

From artist shot selection to platform-specific formatting, we treated each edit as a broadcast-grade deliverable. Working within Adobe Premiere Pro, our editors handled performance syncing, tone adjustments, content flags and final export, all while maintaining the speed and clarity required for live music media.

Whether embedded inside an agency or collaborating with in-house editorial leads, Kumo’s ability to shape and scale post workflows is what sets us apart.
